I bought one of these for my little boy who just turned 3...and one for my niece who is 2 1/2. My little boy and my niece seem to like this toy. Neither one of them is very good at it yet...but I think that will come as they get older. The concept of this toy is great. You follow the lights on the board as they light up. The toy tells you what you are creating (a circle, square, letter, etc.) There are also a couple of games to play. As they get older and can follow the lights I think they will like this more and more. It's a good travel toy as it's the perfect size to keep in the car (not to big...and not too small (so it won't get lost under the seat). Good product!

Purchased this for Christmas for our 3 year old. She loves it and is learning how to write very well with it. This keeps her very entertained and she is learning her upper and lower case letters!!!! The only thing I wish was that the plastic "magna doodle" part of the toy was made a bit nicer. It is a bit loose on ours, but doesn't seem to affect anything so I still give it a great review. Her favourite part is the drawing section because it shows you how to make happy faces!

I purchased 3 of these toys for children ages 3,4,&5. They enjoyed it equally. The 3 yo is ahead for his age group and the 5 yo old behind. They both benefit from this toy. The sound effects are wonderful and capture the kids attention.

I brought this product for my daughter for christmas in 2009. After reading the review in brought it. I first saw it at walmart and it quickly became sold out. Tried Target there it was already sold out. I said this toy must be good . Finally tried Amazon. I was not disappointed. My daughter loves it she is using it all the time. Teaching her how to write and also her letter. A must buy

This is a great educational instrument for my granddaughter who recognizes her alphabet letters but is early in her ability to write the letters herself. It will help her to advance in a very user-friendly way.
