"Cute, but not sure if it was appropriate yet!" 2009-12-29
By Julie Young
A cute child's version of a real computer. At almost 3, she might be too young for the games but she's enjoying banging on it and having her own computer like Mommy and Daddy.

 "My kids love it!" 2009-12-29
By Jennifer W. Heney (MA)
I gave the pink one to my daughter (2) and the orange one to my son (3) for Christmas and they loved the idea of havign their own laptop. The novelty did wear off pretty quickly since it was a little difficult for them to figure out how to use them. If I had to do it again I think I would consider a Leap Frog. This was a good deal for the money.

Very happy with this purchase was a Christmas gift for my 3 year old granddaughter. It was her favorite toy. Very educational and for her to use once we showed her how to use it. Would recommend this purchase.

"If Only I Had The Chance to Demo the Product Online Before Ordering It..." 2009-12-13
By Sofabee's Mom (New York)
I just purchased this item for my 4.5 year old daughter, since she's now at the stage where she loves playing games and watching kids' videos on my laptop. I have to say I did like the Amazon "frustration free packaging" very much. My immediate reaction was, "gee this product seems rather babyish," and is probably more intriguing to a slightly younger child (though many of the games are appropriate for age 4 and older). However, what irks me the most about this product is the extremely annoying voice of the "squirrel" host -- after only 2 or 3 sessions of play by my daughter, it is almost unbearable to listen to. The squirrel's verbal reactions, as well as background music and noise, are monotone, repetitive and lack any type of variety to make it interesting. If only I had the chance to demo the product before ordering it, I certainly would've found a better way to spend the money.

 "Great beginner computer" 2009-12-01
By Kimberly Woodward (indiana)
I bought this for my three year old and she loves it. Most of the features require Daddy or I sitting with her and reading or showing and helping her do it. She has however, learned how to get to the games section. There are four buttons on the bottom: Letters, Numbers, Logic, Games. The screen is smaller than I thought it was going to be, but still easy for little ones to see (eyesight gets worse the bigger you get!:)) Each letter button has a corresponding picture on it, A has an apple, B has a bee, C has a cricket (could they seriously have not used a cat? come on!). The mouse stores in the back of the laptop with a few clips attached. The only thing I would change about this would be to find a way to secure the mouse to the side of the laptop. My daughter wants to move the entire thing and it won't work that way. Just the part on top moves and I find myself holding the base of the mouse still while she tries to move the top part. I would definately recommend this to someone looking for a starter laptop for their little one. Great learning tool!
