We've had three books so far (Ozzie - which came with the tag, The Little Engine that Could, and this one), and this has the least amount of activities at the end of the three. Ozzie had the most and it almost seems like Leapfrog put all their efforts into that book and just added a couple of games for the other books. This book has only one page of games at the end. The games are what makes the books really worth it because they "can" be very good. We've had the Ozzie book for over a year, and my kids still play those games and are still stumped by some of them.

Madagasacar 2: Escape to Africa was one of the four books given to my nieces (SpongeBob, Ozzie & I Spy). What was a surprise was that my two years old niece loved these more than my 4 years old niece. It's not the same as having mom and dad read it to you, make connection but it makes a great gift!
I gave durability a 4 star because the book has the same feel as a normal book. I don't know how this amazing thing works when you point with LeapFrog Tag and have it speak clearly. Only been 2 weeks of usage but I don't see any scratch or tear.

Our preschool daughter already had two other LeapFrog Tag books, so she knew how they worked. She really enjoys this one and has read it many, many times.

My kids love the Tag system, but they like the books that have word games at the end. They spend more time doing the games then actually reading the book. The Madagascar book has only one page, so I will be returning it.
