My almost 4 year old is too young for this unit. She really wanted a game for Christmas, but, after only a few days, she was done with it. I think the directions are hard because it says Joy stick, and that is for the one on the tv. Make sure your kids are old enough before you spend the money.

i would suggest you spend the extra money on the ac adapter and car adapter instead of buying batteries. this turned out to be one of the more frequently used christmas gifts and its great when in the car. has been dropped a few times and still works

This is my second Vtech cyber pocket- the first lasted 8 months - the second less than 2 months :( Although I am getting a replacement from Vtech I will never buy their product again! It's a shame because the games are excellant.

This is a neat and educational gaming system. It's nice to have something that you can bring along anywhere you go. I love that they have it in pink so that my kids do not get them mixed up. My only complaint is that for the same price as this pink one you can get it in blue and it will come with the "v-link" and a cord that allows them to connect to the tv and play on it. Still a great toy all in all.

Bought it for my daughter's 5th bday and it stopped working in less than a year. The unit does not even turn on anymore. Don't waste your money
