I bought this as a gift for my 4 year old grandchild for Christmas. They do not live near me and I just found out that it never worked. What a disappointment. What can I do now that it has been almost 2 months. I trusted the Fisher-Price name brand. I feel let down on a $100 gift. I suggest you don't buy unless it is from a store were you can try it out and return if problems occur.

It broke after a few months, just quit playing dvd's. However Fisherprice did send me a check because they could not replace it at the time.

I am very disappointed because the play button quit working after only a few months. The dvd player is not durable.

Defective DVD player. The player did not recognize any dvd disc. It was a waste of money and my time trying to get the DVD player to operate. I returned the player and ordered a different brand (not Fisher-Price). The new player works awesome and it did not cost as much as the Fisher-Price DVD player.

We got these for our boys because hey, its a great idea- let them watch their shows for our long ride to the beach. However, when we pulled them out for the beach, it was a disaster. The first player stopped working completely during the first DVD played in it. The second one has played five DVDs, but is now showing the same signs of immanent death.
I look forward to a product with actual quality being offered. Fisher Price just isn't what it used to be. And I notice the price has now tripled.
