 "Love this toy!!!" 2010-03-24
By A. Morrison (Burke, VA United States)
We got my daughter this toy for Christmas when she was seven months old. I love the colors and the sounds, and like the educational value of the counting. Many singing toys can be annoying, and maybe I just have a high tolerance for noisy toys, but I don't mind this one at all. The tune is pretty catchy and not overly annoying, and I still feel this way after hearing it almost non-stop for a 10-hour car ride. My daughter continues to love this toy three months after Christmas, and continues to press the button that plays the full song. She seems to have learned which button plays the song and which count. I highly recommend this!

"The song of this toy is like crying" 2010-03-16
By R. Hu
I don't know why there has been nobody else mentioned this: haven't you all noticed that the song on this toy is like the girl was crying? My son is barely 15 months and he had never showed hatred to any of his other toys until I bought this one for him. He just doesn't like it. He is usually happy and friendly with his toys, but he would pound the turtle's face and then push the toy away. Last night, something happened and I couldn't believe that: my son loves to watch us pushing his wheeled toys (any trains, trucks, etc.) away and this makes him happy. So I gathered all his toys with wheels last night, and started to pushing them one by one. He was smiling at the first toys, until the turtle went out-- because the wheels of the turtle are much larger than others', it went much further. Before the turtle even stopped, my son turned on his waterworks. He cried so sadly and started to pounding the turtle's face with loath. I had never seen anything like this on his face before and I was a little bit scared. So I took the turtle away and hided it in a box.

The other babies may do like this turtle, but I am writing our story here so that you may know that your baby may not like it.

"Not a big hit - except when dropped on the floor" 2010-02-24
By H. Vanderpool (Spokane, WA)
My son is hard to buy toys for because his favorite objects are every day items, card board boxes, books and magazines, kitchen items- things that "adults" use. Which makes since for any baby because they need to learn about the world around them. I believe that this toy would be great for a more mellow baby that sits still long enough to explore the buttons and is not interested in how things mechanicly work (hinges, springs, sliding cabinets, turning over rugs). Cute toy but my boy doesn't have the patience for more than 30 seconds with it. I did give it high marks for durability as it has been dropped from the pack-n-play onto the floor for a variety of physics tests he likes to do.

 "Not for non crawlers" 2010-02-12
By Shinan Kassam (Waverly, AL)
This is a great toy and I am sure my baby will have fun with it once she starts crawling. Until then, she finds this toy very frustrating.

 "Delightful" 2010-01-21
By wildchild (Nebraska)
My granddaughter liked it a lot. I added a string around it's neck so she could pull it around with her.
