"Great toy for little ones!" 2009-11-13

My daughter loved this! She enjoyed how interactive it was and of course all the music and animal sounds.

"Cant make out what the lady says!" 2009-11-04

We got this as a gift. It seems to be a bit cheaply built because the voices are pretty unclear. Obviously not in the same class as the "Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn My Busy Day Table" in terms of quality, but of course thats a whole lot more costly. But I have to say that my daughter cannot get enough of the turning the dial, and she still loves pressing the "paint brush" against her teething gums. She also keeps pushing it over all the time. So, maybe this is one of those toys that appeal to children more than they appeal to parents.

"Another good toy from vtech" 2009-06-27
By Kalpana Ganesan (newark, ca)
The picture given is the amazon page is slightly different from how it looks actually. I think this is due to Vtech constantly improving their toys. My one year old got this as a gift. She loves it. she keeps spinning the spinner and plays with the pen a lot.

Also this toy has a lot of potential to carry the interest up to 3 or 4 years. It has music and lights, piano, 1 learning card. One side teaches numbers, the other side teaches letters. When you do not use the card, it has shapes by default. My daughter has not explored even 50% of this toy. So she is going to have even more fun playing and learning with it in the coming months..

Last thing to add, it works perfectly (unlike what other reviewer said). It does not tip over easily unless you push it down.

"A great toy for baby" 2009-02-16
By Pooh Bear
My then 9 month old got this toy for Christmas. I had to have this for her because it looked like so much fun. I admit that I expected a little more from this toy, but I still really like it. It is set up like an easel, and has an interactive page that "clips" onto the easel. It teaches letters A-E, colors, etc.

There is a "paintbrush" that is used for touching the different colors, etc. to hear the talking and singing based on that particular item. It is a cute toy. I wish my baby liked it a little more, though. It does seem to be a durable toy, as she likes to bang the paintbrush against the easel repeatedly, especially when mad. I do like this toy, the only thing I wish it had is more letters and numbers to learn. I also bought this for a cousin, and plan to buy one for my nephew, so I do recommend it!

"Two of them worked for 10 minutes each" 2009-01-11
By JoeD
We got the first VTech paint and learn easel as a gift and 10 minutes into our daughter playing with it, it would only produce a clicking sound from the speakers. We returned it to the store and picked up another one. The second one worked for 10 minutes also before it started to produce only the clicking sound and would otherwise not operate.

At the same time we received another VTech electronic toy as a gift and it also had an issue with one of the buttons on the toy not working. After we returned the paint and learn easel, we decided not to purchase another VTech toy to replace it. When 3 out of 3 toys by VTech do not work correctly, it points to quality issues that I don't care to deal with.
