 "Screen low resolution" 2010-01-11
By lauriecsbug (dc area)
As a homeschooler, I REALLY wanted a toy that taught cursive handwriting. It makes it so much more fun. So I was thrilled to get this toy and paid the $49 for it. But I was a little disappointed in the resolution of the screen, nothing like a leapster screen. For the price I would have expected a better screen. Plus, you can't write on the screen. This toy simply shows the letter being drawn, and the child can copy it on paper. A little disappointing for the price.

 "Great!" 2006-12-29
By Ben Franklin (Akron, OH United States)
My 5 year old son went to Kindergarten and was so frustrated with learning to write. I immediatly got on line to find something to help. I quickly found See N' Write with the demo on line. My son found it fun and for some reason became really attached to learning his letters. He has it on his desk and often I will hear it being turned on so he can practice his letters. Try the demo (do a search for the product) and see if your child would enjoy it. If so, order it. I wasn't sorry that I did and I don't consider it a useless toy or a waste of money. He's been using it since 4 months now.
