The latest version of the Arduino Mega is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega 2560.
It has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 14 can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, and a USB connection.

I've has sooooooo much fun with my Arduinos (yes, I have several). The original Arduinos are tiny, and my stack often smashed into my variables. But now! The MEGA is here! We have more memory, folks! And so many pins!
NOTE: The MEGA pinout differs slightly from previous Arduinos. You may need to change your existing software to work with the MEGA.
