 "Decent for the price" 2010-01-28

Got this for my 2yo for Christmas as a toy for the car and she enjoys it well enough. My biggest complaint is that in the bright daylight you can't see the images on the screen - it just looks blue so not that great during the day!!

 "Great educational toy!" 2009-10-20
By L. Frank (Denver, CO)
My boy is almost 2 and is saying his letters much in part due to this toy. It says the alphabet over and over and my kid is picking it up. I think simplicity and repetition is fine at this age. Anything too complicated is just that, too complicated. I leave this toy in his crib at night so if he wakes and is bored he can have something with which to entertain himself. I love hearing this instead of his cries!

 "skip this one!" 2009-08-14
By Mommy to 2 (sunshine state)
I found this toy at the family dollar store for about [...] and it looked fun...it is boring, non-interactive, and it does the abc song but not with the right rhythm. I too have had it speak to me when I least expect it. I am shocked at all of the great reviews--it is definately one that I would have skipped! For a toddler, there are many 'soft' toys that teach letters and numbers or colors (soft toys make less dangerous projectiles when a 2 yr. old decides to throw!!) like the leappad caterpiller that has been the BEST toy for the car since birth and still today.[...] or for an 'electronic' look alike, the baby einstein music player

 "pretty lame" 2009-02-01

This toy is not very interactive. It displays letters and numbers on the screen, but the child can only push buttons to start the sequence. It's good for the car, but not a great toy overall.

 "Lots of Fun" 2009-01-31
By Angela Torres (Los Angeles, CA USA)
My 15 month old daughter is all about electronics. She always wants to play with our blackberry's and cell phones. I thought this might be a way to distract her. It didn't quite do that, but it is a lot of fun. The voice on it is very cute and it's very easy to use, all you have to do is push the screen to get it going. (When it was wrapped our kitten discovered that one of the presents made sounds and was jumping on all the presents to figure out which one made the sounds and then kept pushing on it to keep it working) I like the fact that after a few letters or numbers you have to push it again so it keeps her involved in the toy. I also like the fact that it has a digital screen that shows the letters and the numbers. And I really like that it goes through words that start with the letter, ie A is for Apple. I do wish it had a volume control since she always wants to play with it when her 4 month old brother is sleeping. But other than that I'm thrilled with the toy.
