Bought this (along with a few others) for my son for a long cross country road trip. This, along with the others, were well worth the cost. He was engrossed for hours as the miles went by, and now that he is home he continues to play even when not in the car.



I played it a little bit on the parts when he got stuck for an answer, and I thought the controls for the game were a little hard, but then again I'm not the hand held game type of person. My son certainly wasn't complaining about that aspect and I don't know if that was more that the game is picky or if that was an Lmax issue. Probably it was just that I am not a great hand held game player.



This game seemed to have a lot of rounding and wanting to know which number was in the millionths place and so on. I thought there would be more multiplication and division, but I can only speak as to what I heard coming out of the game while my son was playing. I didn't actually play the whole thing myself. Certainly it is educational, so there is no issue there.



This cartridge plays on leapsters and Lmax systems equally well.

I bought this for my almost 9 yo son who'll be going into 3rd grade soon. He enjoyed it but finished in 4 days. He is by no means a math whiz and they've only touched on multiplication in school. You know how he finished it... he guessed! I'm not sure how much he learned but he had fun.

My son cant put this game down; I bought it thinking that I will have to save it for a while because he is in 1st grade and doesnt know multiplication or division, how wrong I was. He tried the game and even though he doesnt know all the answers he can play and defeat all the bad guys. By the time he gets to 3rd grade Im sure he will know all his time tables. My boys love this game. The 3 of them faught over it so much I ended up buying another. My 3rd grader breezes right through the problems, but still enjoys playing. Even my 3 year old likes to play. He doesn't understand, but he tries very hard to get the right answer. He just loves Batman. I bought the game for my 8 year old son when he was first introduced to multiplication in second grade, and it motivated him to learn his tables, so he could conquer the challenges, and validate what he was learning.

Batman is a little hard when it comes to the middle of the game.

I sometimes have my parents help me with that part of the game and I still

can't figure it out. I am good at my math skills,but in this part of the game I don't know if I jump,press the B button,or press the A button.

A similar Leapster game is "Second Grade." That game is excellent for

third,fourth,and fifth graders. I prefer playing "Second Grade" instead of

"Batman."

They absolutely love it! They started playing a few days ago and are just fascinated by it. And they have learned so much already. Which number is greater than which one, the sequence of numbers, it's just amazing. I tried it and I was like, "huh, how does Batman open the door?" and my son David said, "Mom, just push the up arrow". Four years old and they are understanding instructions and selecting correct answers, all because Batman is so entertaining. I recommend this game 100%. (BTW, stay away from the Nemo game, it's just too boring).

My son loves this game and continues to talk to me about it every day. I let him play his Leapster in the car on the way home from school. He always lets me know what's going on with it. He describes to me who he is "battling" and the things that he has to do to win. Even in the mornings, on the way TO school, he talks about it. I love Leapster because the games teach so much. I have not yet seen one that didn't teach something. This one is no different.
