They built a phone with good things to say and teach, but you cannot hear any of it. The phone prompts you to find and touch numbers, letters or shapes and then listen to the next prompt. Problem is you have to hold it to your hear to be able to hear it. Effectively, your kid has to touch the button and return the phone to his/her ear immediately, which NEVER happens. Not a good toy.

I wish amazon had an option of 'no' stars because this toy clearly has a problem. There is no volume switch and the sound is so low that it is barely audible. When I called V-tech they told me it is to protect the kids hearing ! This is not the first time I have bought a toy phone and there is a difference between audible quality and hearing loss quality.



My son is in love with Manny so the poor child will find a corner where there is no sound just to be able to hear something from this worthless toy ! PLEASE SAVE your money, and do not buy this phone.

My 2 year old got this toy for christmas - this is NOT a fun toy. first of all, I can not figure out how to turn it off so randomly it just starts talking which is creepy and bad when i'm trying to put my son to sleep. Also the "buttons" on the phone hard VERY hard to press making them not useable. I would return this if I could. DO NOT BUY IT - you child will not like it and it will just be a waste of money. There are a ton of other cool kid phones out there.

My son, who is three, has recently become a fan of Handy Manny so I went out on a limb and bought this. At first I was thinking that this may be to advanced for him, I was wrong. It took him a few try's but now he it using the tools and solving puzzles like it was second nature !!! He also will say words in Spanish to me. I love that he is always wanting to play and sing and do the individual games. He can get a little carless with his toy's, after all he is only three, but this cassette has held up very well. He love's this game and I like watching him play it. I will even join in with him from time to time. Although his Spanish is way better than mine.
