The battery conductor is flimsy and never conducts. So you try to lift and that's when it breaks rendering it completely useless. It's a total plastic junk. Not to disappoint my kids, I somehow managed to get it work but they lost interest immediately.

We have had this great little gas pump for three years now and it has gotten tons of use, both inside and outside. It has held up really well, and still is a lot of fun for the kids.



In addition to using it at home, we let the preschool borrow it for their Bicycle Day in the parking lot, where they had a little car wash and gas station set up, too!



Highly recommend this fun little toy! We love it!

I hoped it would be a little bigger. I think the concept is great. The hose is a little stiff. The blue thing that you have the noise buttons has popped out a couple times. The kids were excited but haven't continued to play with it as much.

This isn't the greatest. My boys like the idea of filling their trucks with gas but this is not very realistic. It just doesn't interest them much. The sounds are pretty quiet and the toy is knocked over easily. They have been sitting/climbing on it more than using it.

The little pumper was exactly what my grandson wanted. It is very durable. What I was disappointed in, was the condition of the pumper when received. It arrived at the house in a box without any internal wrapping or foam. ALL the labels (decals) that were applied to the pumper were peeled almost all the way off. Because this was a birthday gift, I had no time to send back for an exchange. I glued the labels back on. The company that shipped this product needs to review their packaging and product before sending out.

I got this for my youngest daughter since she likes almost anything that plays music. She liked it, but since it requires a stroke motion to get the most out of it, she didn't get into it to much. She's 1 1/2. My older daughter who is almost 3, enjoyed it much more and usually plays with it when she sees it. It will not entertain her for long periods, but it does for a short while.

We've had this guitar for about a year now. It's cute enough, but the phrases get really annoying after a while. Every time my son spins the dial, it says "Let's jam!". That was OK the first 40 times, but does it have to say this every time?? I also wish the animal sounds were a little more realistic and that it had a few more modes of play. OK for the money though.

My son holds this thing like he is rocking out and just dances and dances. He got it as a present for his first Christmas and we had to take it away from him because he wouldn't pay attention to anything else the entire day. Six months later he still picks it up and dances with it while pressing all the buttons. It's adorable. The educational part of it is kinda stupid. He totally isn't going to learn his animal sounds or counting from this toy. It's nice that LeapFrog tried. He just likes the music part of it though.

My son is obsessed with guitars. Ever since my husband started playing all he wants is guitars. He got a little wooden toy guitar for Xmas and didnt part with it for the nex 2 weeks, in which time he destroyed it - literally from banging every single surface with it. So, now in time for his first birthday I looked around for a more durable guitar for him. I was a little concerned that it doesnt look much like a guitar, but to my son it does. He LOVED it from the first moment he saw it. Its his favorite toy, no doubt, and it is pretty durable so far it hasnt broken at all, and he drops it a lot, because it is a little bit too heavy for a 12 month old. Thats really my only complaint, but I expect that within a few weeks, he would have worked it out, and he'll only love it more.

It talks in English and Spanish, and you can switch it from counting, letters, and melodies. Its really nice.

For once, I think the sound should be LOUDER on a toy. Some toys have sound that is too loud, but since this toy can be used outside, the gas pump sounds should be louder. It's a neat little thing for my nephew, but if it's going to make sound at all, you should be able to hear it.

I sent this back - very disappointed in weight, decals, lack of imagination - Fisher Price made one 25 years ago which was a lot more interesting and fun. It had spinning numbers for the price and gallons, sturdy construction(still have our childrens - was looking for one for grandson), tools for small make-believe repairs (oil can, tire pressure checker, etc.) and a bell to indicate customer had arrived (I know, we now have self-serve).

My children enjoyed this for years!

My boys had the model from the late 80's. It was larger but made no sounds. My two year old grandson likes the sounds this pump makes and knew what it was. (He sees his family put gas in their vehicles) I do think it's a little small and he gets a little frustrated with the hose/holder. Understandable since he's only two. All in all a good toy, no regrets!

I love the concept of this toy for my grandchildren. However upon receiving the item I found the decals had been improperly positioned and wrinkled...First strike! Secondly, the weight of the pump makes it difficult for little ones to use it. It needs to be heavier at the bottom so when the hose is used it does not drag the pump to the floor every time. I'm having my husband weight the bottom so this does not happen. It could be a great item if these improvements were made.

My twin sons both got Cozy Coupes for Christmas and so naturally they got the gas pump as well. They love to gas up their cars and our 6 year old son also loves to gas them up for them. So cute. I wish it were a little heavier so it didn't fall over as much but overall a great little addition. If your child loves their cozy coupe, they will love the pump to go along with it.
