I have 2 five year old grandsons......Both enjoyed the ease of the Diji and the fun games, but I know they will need more games to be created by the time they turn 6. I think this is an excellent first gaming system and love the idea that it is also a learning tool!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She is 3 (almost 4). I also bought a Spongebob Math game to go along with it. She absolutely loves the game. I'm so excited as a parent because she "gets" how to play it too. She has a tough time with the math aspect of the game (doesn't exactly understand "ones place" and "tens place" yet, but I know she will get there. I bought it for her expecting her to grow into the game and the skills necessary. The "skins" are stupid and pointless, just a glorified sticker, but the Jelly is definitely important as my 3 year old will be dropping this one or 2 times a day!!!!!!! I love it so far, and so does she. It's only been a month (not even), but she will enjoy it and the games that I buy for years.

I bought this for my kindergartener to learn math and reading -- really high quality games, with just the right amount of learning so it seems to be a fun part of the game. I am glad I bought it!
