This toy has the same quality you'd expect from Melissa and Doug. Educational in so many ways, well-made, sized for little fingers, etc. I was surprised there wasn't a lid to keep the items contained, hence minus one star. Even so, I would buy again and recommend.

My sister bought this for my son's 5th birthday. He loved it. I didn't expect my almost 9 year old son to also like it. We have to because because they tend to fight over it. Great for car trips.

This is a pretty fun toy, and I love how it helps my son's fine motor development and problem-solving skills.
Unfortunately, he weaponized the string so we now use it as a car/restaurant toy. That seems to work well for us.
