 "Very misleading." 2010-03-03
By Rebekah (North Carolina)
At the top, it says "Other products by Leapfrog", which lead me to believe this was a Leapfrog product. I got the package and it says "Compatible with V.Smile Pocket & Cyber Pocket" and NOTHING about Leapster2. I will be returning it. Should not have come to Amazon, should have gone straight to the LeapFrog website.

"Doesn't maintain connection to DIDJ" 2010-02-15
By Wendy M. Crocker
We ordered this adapter for our son's DIDJ but you can't even use it because every time you move the DIDJ even just a smidge, the power disconnects. We even got another DIDJ thinking it was the port in the DIDJ, but it does the same thing. It was a complete waste of money!

"One's too bulky, the other's too delicate." 2009-12-29
By RJ (Tacoma, WA USA)
The photo is misleading; the power packs are not the same size. The home power pack is bulky (twice the size compared to the car charger...their photo shows a full-size car charger and half-size wall charger) and heavy; it could easily be 1/4th of this size, draw less power and do the same thing it does now. Often my kids complain of losing power in the middle of the game; I suspect a bad connection but really don't know.

The car power cable has a great size to it but it isn't well constructed. The end by the plug pulled out and I had to re-seat it; the end attached to the game bent too many times and the wires broke. I would say my kids used it once a week in the car over a 10 month period and they are normally not destructive with their toys.

If you have a Leapster you should buy a set of these to save on batteries...just don't buy this set.

 "Works well" 2009-10-04
By John S. Dean (Sturtevant, WI United States)
Only negative would be to have a little longer cord on it, that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Works well, and saves me from having to recharge the batteries as much as I had been, since it gets used more at home than it does when we go out and about.

I have no problems with the plug coming out of the Didj or anything, it fit snug and stayed put.

 "Waste for us" 2009-09-12
By TX_Bedlam (Aubrey, TX)
This was intended to reduce our dependence on batteries for our Leapster2, especially for long car rides when batteries typically die. The car jack does not work - with or without batteries in the Leapster. The wall unit jack seems to work more times than not. I would save your money and buy batteries.
