I bought this for my three youngest (2 girls & 1 boy; ages range from 3-8) Anyway, they love playing with the DACS, when we can get it to work. No joke, I've had to uninstall and reinstall this program (along with the additional 4 software discs that I got for it) 3 times - and now I'm on my 4th reinstall, and I'm having issues with the installation alone! I can't figure out what the deal is - I know its NOT my computer, because it's well over the specs required... I'm just horribly frustrated that Fisher Price would put out such a low quality item, but it cost me more than it's worth.

The software is completely unstable. My 4yo got it for Christmas and loves it when it runs. She can rarely play more that 5-10mins before the software crashes.

If you buy this product, especially if you are running windows 7, make sure that you visit the website and download the updated drivers and software, the original software will not work on a windows 7 machine, you must download the updates. Hope this helps.

The hardware appears well built, but the software is *VERY* buggy. Do some searches and it seems many people have problems getting it to work.
I'm an IT guy, and it took me about 4 hours, two different laptops, probably about 5 reinstalls and 10 reboots. (The internet searched solution that finally worked for me was renaming two .NET framework directories to disable them... too soon to know what that broke.)
It does finally work, but only immediately after a reboot with the tablet unplugged. Then you plug in the table at the app starts. If the tablet is plugged in when the system reboots, the "on" button doesn't start the app. at least not for me.
Fischer Price should be embarrassed, and you have to wonder if they do any QA before they ship.
When it is working my 5YO does like it.

This is a great toy, if you pay attention to the system requirements. If you are not sure of what is in your computer, you can search the model number on google with the word specs and you will usually find listed the video card that is in your machine.
On a down note though. The recommended price from fisher price is 40.00. This is a really high price. Department stores such as Target are selling this for 49.00, I am surprised at some of the Amazon prices this year. Most are higher than department stores. I can usually rely on amazon to give me good prices and free shipping on toys. Not this year.
