This CD is fine, not extrememly exciting but maybe there's no possible way to make songs for multiplication tables that aren't really sing-songy and a bit monotonous. I think the songwriters probably did their best to give some variety to the tunes.

I bought this to use with my third grade students but after listening to it I am unsure whether or not the children will like it or get anything out of it. The tunes are a bit monotonous and I'm not sure they'll actually help them remember their multiplication facts.

We like this cd, it's catchy and not boring at all considering the subject matter (how exciting are addition tables?). My kids think it's great, they make their toys dance to the songs, but then they are rather creative and silly at times. I am buying the subtraction cd, then the multiplication as well. The music is non-offensive, no hip-hop, no kiddie cartoon voices, not annoying in the least. I recommend this cd, and yes, it is great for the car.

The only place I could hold my children captive long enough to listen to these very "un-catchy" tunes was in the car. That proved to be a mistake, because these "songs" are somewhat hypnotic and practically put me to sleep! This purchase was a waste of money for my family. (And my son learned to add just fine without them.)
