I bought this toy for my seven year old and we built it together. At first, it didn't work and I thought it was defective. However, after some tweaking by my husband, it now works perfectly. You have to line things up perfectly or nothing happens.

It needs direct sun to run. It's better to buy at least 2 to make a contest.
